  1. Why does no one ever mention the lowering of the water table? I 've read that many of the aquifers have dropped significantly. And I can't help but wonder how much this affects local weather, drought, and wildfires. It seems no matter how much we address CO2 , that has no effect on what's happening underground. All I ever hear is CO2 CO2 but I don't hear anything about the River levees or dams. Or, how about the large urban areas and the vast tracks of farmland. These all change weather patterns and influence the severity of localized weather. Simply put , my yard is shaded in the back and needs less watering ..it's also 15 degrees cooler. Compare a new subdivision with one 15 to 30 years old. I live in the St.Louis area and most storms go north of the metro or south. The heat bubble of the city and the open farmland north and south. Thanks, just rambling
