Oilsands oil is likely the most ethically produced petroleum on Earth. And the "tarsands" stuff itself,I understand literally leaks out of the ground and rocks of Alberta. We might as well put it to good use.
In Florida 11% of electric power comes from renewable sources, 11% nuclear, 72% natural gas and 7% coal. 96% of the energy needed for transportation comes from Oil only 4% is from electricity (89% which is not renewable) so actually 0.4% is actually renewable. Just trying to imagine what it would be like to try and live here with only the renewable sources is frightening. Fossil fuels are finite and we will eventually run out of them. Developing alternates is a good thing but we can afford to go slow letting the economics guide us. If solar, batteries and electric transportation is cost effective we will switch just because it saves money forcing the switch through government action makes no sense.
Very well produced John, however I wonder if the indoctrinated who condemn oil and gas will view it and hopefully learn.

That will never be allowed, especially in schools.
