Great, then it will happen through private sector innovation and investment, the way all major technological transformations have happened. If you're right, we don't need to impose it from above using costly government interventions. But don't try to tell us both that it's a brilliant source of profits and job growth, and that it will only happen if we force it through with subsidies and regulations.
